This 1947 cabin in winter landscape oil on board was painted, signed and dated by PJ Brady. It's enclosed within a dark wooden frame which sets off the cool and warm tones of the painting nicely. The cabin is situated next to a stream with mountains visible in the distance and is surrounded by deciduous and coniferous trees. There is a winding path leading up to the cabin with a single window and light showing. The landscape captures a sense of space, serenity and beauty uniquely characteristic of the great white north.
