Joseph Pickett Framed Print Campbell's Ferry 1776. Joseph Pickett 1848-1918, was an American primitive painter, born in New Hope, Pennsylvania. He worked as a carpenter, canal boat builder and grocer. At about age 65 he began painting. His best known paintings show a strong sense of colour and design and are displayed in museums across the US (Museum of Modern Art, Whitney, among others.) This is a large print of Campbell's Ferry 1776.
